Actually TM can allow free tethering, but you need to pay for that because the terms set by SKMM. This organization must be fair to other telco. So no point to ask TM for free tethering. Only few people understand that.

I'm switching over to digi infinite. I travel to china/hk frequently. the extra 5gb really useful for me. in addition, no need to pay for the 300 deposit whereby Webe will charge for roaming.

I think line pretty bad for Webe. Some shopping center no line. Have to switch to Digi already.

it's not digi's problem. Webe. cause it's all under one account. I just port in the number that I want and the rest just cancel and resubscribe again at Webe.

for webe kuching seems getting worst..most of my colleague using webe now complaint slow..even tunetalk 3G is faster (obviously got quota).. but speed 60-100kB/s is totally unbearable already

from what I read mostly, 3G webe capped by celcom.. where you try first speed test..it will goes up to 8Mbps..then slows down to 2Mbps constantly.

Digi is more generous with 5gb free tethering quota on rm80 package. I've been suggesting the same to webe for a long time but they seem to ignore it. As a new entrant in the telco business, webe should be more creative to diversify its offering. No one wants to pay RM6.36 for mere 2 hours of tethering.

RM10 for 1 month tethering pass of 10gb sound reasonable too. Webe must not expect other telco (like Digi) would introduce unlimited internet package too so they must be very confident to charge RM6.36 for 2 hours of tethering. Now the table has been turned. I am anticipating how Umobile, Celcom and Webe will react to Digi's latest offering ( Maxis may not join the telco war unless they are very badly affected by it)
