my bro are currently in his 1st year in MBBS in University of Alexandria(under JPA), Egypt. Juz called me and said that he juz finish exam and said that it was tough that he only hope he can pass. What happen if he dun pass?

I don't take biology during my SPM.
can I still be a doctor?
right now just got matriculation offer.
should I take (sains hayat/life science) stream in my matriculation although I don't have basic in f4 & f5 bio?

if UKM, i've just have to go into physical science.

because their MD program require either physic or bio.

in terms of future life in uni, do studying bio during spm or matriculation give advantage in my uni year? or do we just learn new thing in U?

that mean, an MD graduate will do the same job as MBBS graduate and can do specialist and have the same job as MBBS grads. am i right?

USM= Doktor Perubatan
UM = MBBS

do both degree have different in term of practicing? or do they just do the same thing?

btw, is it really true that people from matriculation physical science stream can go into medic? for example, USM, UKM, or USM MD program.

because i took technical science stream in f4 and f5. i dun have bio subject. afraid i'll be left behind in matric science hayat.

that's is the problem.

since u all currently studying medic, do studying biology during f4/f5 and matric give me advantage in my uni year? or will we just learn a whole new thing?

can anybody here clarify if there is physical science student joining medic for degree in USM, UKM, or UPM? if they do accept, what's my chance?

bcoz, i'm afraid that with no bio in SPM, i'll not eligible to enter USM MD prog. because i'm from technical science stream during secondary school

from what i've checked, they only require us to pass BI in spm level and either physic or bio in matric. afraid if there is any hidden requirement that require me to have bio in spm certs..

JY. already answer ur question. MD only take rm11000 for 5 years. dentistry will be almost the same.

i think, if you're chinese student from matric and try to enter dentistry course, large chances for you to get scholarship. since there are small number of chinese in matric.
