y520 legion RM4,219 — Intel Core i7-7700HQ, 4GB DDR4, GTX 1050 4GB, 1TB HDD (5400 rpm)

dell monitor is not ips , lenovo is ips

2. Budget : RM 2.5-3.3k
3. Usage : For Uni
4. Screen Size : Prefer 14/15 inch with 1080P display
5. Add : lightweight and able to upgrade RAM and SSD

But which model, lotsa laptop at lelong but idk much about this.

Lenovo y520 u need find ngam punya m.2.. not all can detect.. strange.. inspiron 7567 i5 i think alot seller got old batch.. rm3999 1

suggest put in Samsung 960 evo

Not yet try.. put evo 850 m.2 cannot detect..

tht one is sata III M & B key, sure cant

put intel pcie oso cannot.. damn manja..

Successful installed with intel 600p m.2 ssd, no problem at all , hehe

its because... in lelong.. a lot of overprice stuff... just imagine.. ddr2 specs... rm400+... 512mb ram..

Hello friends! Looking for a gaming laptop

1. Preferred brand : Any recommended brand with good after-sales service
2. Budget : below RM6.5k
3. Usage : decent amount of gaming, plan to get Overwatch and COD Infinite Warfare; plus Photoshop, Premier, After Effects and a lot of Lightroom.
4. Screen Size : 15.6"
5. video card : Nvidia 1060
6. RAM : 8GB

*Would be great if it's not too thick as well, plan to lug this between my house and gf's house a lot *

Hey bro thanks for the recommendation, I see the post for fb you tagged there only have ROG GL502VM - FY078T instead of the FX502 you recommended, what is the biggest difference between the two? Since both also running 1060

the only different,
GL502VM have GTX1060(6GB), 15.6" FHD matte IPS 72%NTSC Gsync

FX502 have GTX1060(3GB), 15.6" FHD matte only

that 3gb vs 6gb.. if you have better high end monitor that support gsync.. and what ever tech it is... you might consider GL502 and you able to utilized the features that available on the notebook.. but if you just thinking wanna use normal monitor as extension, think this fx502 will be enuf...

the facebook seems gt promo.. what if try to nego... might be good deal tho...
