Hi all,

Need recommendation for a laptop.

I'm currently using a i5-3230M CPU@2.6Ghz, 8gb ram with NVIDIA GeForce GT720M.

I got it at around 1.8k quite a while back. forgot the model but is the g400s series or something similar

Base on performance, I'm still okay with it but the screen is acting up.

So, any suggestions for laptop that is similar or an upgrade to this in similar price range? May be willing to top up abit.

Basically more bang for buck laptop that is at least 14", though more is a bonus.

1. Preferred brand : Anything but Dell (super bad experience with their CS, called for WiFi issue somehow managed to lose all my data and motherboard fried three times after that).
2. Budget : RM3000
3. Usage : For work - will run a lot of web application and tabs. Prefer something with good battery life so can go work at cafe when I feel like it.
4. Screen Size : 13" or so should be fine. I want something portable. Touch screen preferred but not necessary.

Thank you!

Got it. However any experience or insight on buying there? I'm asking on behalf of my friend's. Shipping charges? Tax? Friend is in France.
Currently looking at Lenovo, Dell, and HP outlet.
