Is the build quality, cooling system are much better than the Lenovo ? And does 1050 is better than 1050ti ? Need your opinion.
Im involved in a work that uses a lot of excel datafiles. In my previous laptop, whenever I open my excel files, it crashes often and saving/calculating the files sometimes took hours. Tried using a PC with better specs and the time taken to save/calculate reduced.

not really.. few years back Dell is better, now not good.
Now, dell,  we have bought for company usage were a lot issue, auto shutdown, black screen, blue screen, HDD got sound etc since these 2 years.
Then recently this year we have changed to HP, so far no issue.

Usage : drama, assignment, normal web browsing
Easy Carry

Prefer one which can fit in 8GB Ram + 1 TB SSHD

I am one of the loyalty customer with dell brand so long since 2001 due to his support service is good and hardware portion is ok  no much problems.
Then we swap to HP this year due to  Dell hardwares are a lot issue recently which  we change to HP  to try out  and with strong recommendation from my HP authorize reseller. Then i find that  my commercial unit with HP support service is very good so far
therefore, i can said is in par with dell.

we direct deal with Penang Dell Manufacturing, Our Manager as price are cheaper if compare with Authorised Dell reseller. is  inspiron 14 3000 series.

we hv low end staff and high end staff mah..
low end staff is utilize inspiron series, Latitude usually pass to high end staff.
therefore, no issue on distribution of low end notebooks or high end notebooks.
previous years, inspiron is quite ok.
and  cost wise also no cheap ,  still par with HP commercial.

    budget constrain ma.. and weight also point consideration
.. previous year inspiron  not much issue.. thus now go to HP now

cheapest laptop for gaming mostly dota 2
-1080p reso or 900p reso
-running ultra settings with no hassle
-smooth 60 fps
-15 or 14 inch display

If you're just doing some light games and light visual editing I think the i7 would be overkill in terms of price lah.
Most modern core i5 notebooks would be more than enough for your needs.

I've been trying to find something with an IPS panel at this price range with the 1050Ti no luck. Usually the ones with IPS is the 4k display and I don't really want 4K tbh.
