hi guys, I went to Lenovo authorised dealer shop yesterday. Price is about Rm 200+ pricier than the multi-brand seller. Can you guys share if there is any difference?

P/S: the authorised dealer sales person kept on emphasising they are "authorised", so any problem can reach out to them if it is regards to software. I was thinking all the pcs do have warranty under Lenovo so are they actually much difference?

Update: I went to Lenovo shop and almost wanted to buy the ideapad 320 - 15'' (they are having promotion and both 14' and 15' are at same price) until I saw Yoga 520 which is about 300+ more expensive. It attracts me cos it's sleek and SSD upgradeable. If add on 128gb SSD (PCie) it come up to price about RM 3,298. and they mentione PCie SSD is much more expensive compared to the SATA SSD, any comments? Thanks in advance.

only exclusive brand r really "useful" in terms of authorised lo.. like alienware, msi gaming series (GP, GE, GS n GT), Razer, Fnatic Gear, Microsoft (only left 9 authorised reseller in Malaysia now for consumer range), the rest r open channel.. anybody oso can register to be their reseller.. authorised my foot...

nobody so free go import lenovo... rugi money if sell import set..

Guys, what is the best light laptop I can get for RM4,000-5,000 (prefer closer to 4,000).

Would like to use it for light CAD work and Adobe Lightroom.

Priority is 1) Light as possible (1.3kg would be great, but won't mind 2kg if it is much better) 2) comes with 8gb ram or more.

So far I've found an HP Pavilion Power 15 for exactly RM3,999 with 8gb ram at lowyat (the mall) and a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 for RM4,500 but both are on the heavy side.

Hello everyone,

Here's the thing, I need something with portability, light and efficient. Generally used for video/movie watching, office work and music listening.

I have narrowed down my preferences into these few choices but have no idea which one is the best. I love the idea of 2 in 1 laptops kinda thing biggrin.gif

1. Surface Pro
2. Asus zenbook flip S
3. Dell Xps 13

Please advise and thank you!

FYI. You can buy any laptop above RM2000+ and still get good performance for your parents.

Just add ssd and try to get full hd

But since you have money to spare.......

-Acer Switch Apha 12  =  RM2799
-Acer Swift 3  = RM3059
-Lenovo Ideapad 320s  = RM2999

They'll be happy, I'm sure of it 😊😊😉

Haha. Thank you so much. What would be the better options for price range around RM2K+?

What do you think about Asus VivoBook X441U?

I went to Lenovo page https://www3.lenovo.com/my/en/laptops/c/laptops
didnt see any 320 on i3 processors. Maybe not sold in Malaysia?

Prefer to be able to view the machine before deciding on purchase.
