Yep, true will be enough, but my hostel wouldn't have enough space I think, only have a table for me.

3. Usage : digital painting/coding, with occasional light gaming(don't think this really matters)

Will go to uni for comp. sci course this year, would like to know what good options are available out there. I was planning to get a 2nd hand Thinkpad but it's quite hard to find one with good screen.

Alternatively, should I get a MiniATX case for my PC instead? If that's the case I will upgrade the CPU and monitor too but I'm afraid it's too much of a hassle to bring a PC to uni. I do have a slow laptop (Pentium Sandy Bridge) which might be ok for coding but struggles to run digital painting software.

4, under 14-inch, nice screen

Yeah checked, only those US unit ships with the IPS panel, Malaysia dont have   

Mainly for the better viewing angle actually, kinda spoiled by better monitors and now scared to be disappointed by TN panels

Hello need help. Currently owning gtx 960m laptop. Can suggest me cheapest price for any laptop to upgrde. 1050 ti or 1060? Or any other that can be cnsider upgrade compare to 960
