I love Maybank cards because when I want to get electronics stuffs, I can always opt for instalment plans if I want to. However I don't really fancy paying double SST for another AMEX card I don't use. Any other cards with annual fee waived with a lot of online partners?

FCB VS is still a very good card giving 1% rebate on general retail transactions except e-wallets, utilities, Government. Most of other CC shall give you around 0.2%-0.4% only and to be reduced by end of this year (the card transaction fee will be reduced again on 1/1/2021, as proposed by Bank Negara).

how about those with rewards points mechanism instead of cashback? Anything good?

Right now I am using Maybank Shopee card. While the points are nice but I realise that I am starting to topup to the ShopeePay more and more as a result i don't get to earn points. I have FCB as well however the cashback is now at 1% which is kinda negligible. Wanna see if there are better options out there.

What is the next best card, to collect points/cashback if I use mainly on eCommerce and online transactions?

1. Annual Income: RM100K and above.

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: MUST BE FREE.

3. Card required for: I use Credit Card as my main payment method for everything.

4. Existing credit cards (if any): Maybank Grab

5. Interested in CC from: CIMB travel platinum & e-card.

6. Others:
I took Grab Card in the beginning because of its amazing point system. Now that they have revised it, im thinking to jump to another card that gives me more values in terms of loyalty points or Cashback or any other value-added services since I pay with credit card, or reload r-wallets with them all the time. Basically I no longer use cash if I can avoid it.

You can use your existing Maybank M2 Amex to buy TNG PIN at Lazada from Monday-Friday, 5x Treatpoints equivalent to 1% (500 TP = RM1 at on-the-spot redemption outlets eg Parkson, Mydin, SenQ, Alpro etc). Then use TNG wallet (In app services, Visa, Duitnow QR, Jompay) to pay TNB, insurance, dining and groceries etc.
Obviously business related expenses or pay on behalf of extended family.

oh wow!!! buying TnG reload pin sounds like a good idea. Didn't know that work. biggrin.gif thanks for the great idea.

By the way, im looking for a CC that is free annual fee and free access to premium lounge. Is the PBB CC the best choice now?
I did consider HSBC visa signature, but need to spend the minimum to get the annual fees waived, i am afraid that i might forget about it.

Currently am using: Maybank Grab Card + CIMB E-Card because free annual fees and Grab Card i have way too many points and can't give up anymore. lol.
