Hopefully able to get some credit card recommendations to increase my cashback earnings further icon_rolleyes.gif

1. Annual Income: RM100K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Must, or waivable by meeting requirements (or call to CS)

3. Card required for:
a. Topup Grab, Tng or Setel for Duitnow (or topup Grab > topup Setel to scan Duitnow)
b. Dining
c. Petrol (Petronas with CardTerus)

4. Existing credit cards (if any):
a. UOB One Platinum (my daily card)
b. OCBC Titanium Mastercard
c. OCBC Great Eastern Platinum MasterCard (shelved under the drawer, only used for direct debit for Insurance)
d. Maybank Grab (shelved under the drawer)

5. Interested in CC from: Any bank will do, as long as Annual Fee or SST can be waived

6. Others:
a. Looking for credit cards with better cashbacks to complement spending habits
b. Want to replace OCBC Titanium since the benefits are revised

Affin duo or public islamic visa for ewallet top up

I like to suggest maybank 2 card amex or maybank ikhwan gold for petrol. I prioritise those 5% cashback over setel. I dunno how card terus works.
Can look maybank ikhwan amex for online shopping. That is everyday but still amex. If dont want amex, affin duo still good.

Uob one card is an ok choice.

Thanks for the suggestion! Actually CardTerus is just straightaway charge to your credit card to pump petrol through Setel, instead of deducting your Setel e-wallet

Another questions, since I have UOB one platinum already, can I still apply UOB one classic also?

Hi guys! I'm looking for credit card suggestions to increase my cashback for dining retail transactions.
Because I find that I'm always the one who pays the bill first whenever I dine out with friends and family 😂

1. Annual Income: RM120,000

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Must, or waivable by meeting requirements (or call to CS)

3. Card required for: Dining retail transactions

4. Existing credit cards (if any):
a. UOB One Platinum Visa Credit Card
b. RHB Shell Visa Credit Card (Only use it when UOB One Platinum's quota is finished for dining).

5. Interested in CC from: Any bank will do, as long as Annual Fee or SST can be waived. Currently, I'm looking at these credit cards but open to any other suggestions
- Maybank 2 Platinum Cards AMEX
- UOB ONE Card classic
- Public Bank Visa Signature

6. Others:
- I don't mind if it's limited to weekend spending as long as the cashback rate % is high.
- Best if no minimum spend is required to achieve a high cashback rate (EG: Spend RM2000 to get 10% unlocked)
- Dining expenses are around RM500 - RM1000
- My expenses each month are around RM2k-4k, which includes paying WiFI, insurance, petrol, etc

You can use Affin Duo for insurance payment. They do give cashback for insurance.

Just curious, how about RHB Shell Visa Credit Card? Will it be giving cashback for the Online Spend category?

I do have an RHB Shell credit card. I've read through the TNC multiple times and didn't see anywhere that Insurance is excluded lol
I know no mention = can assume it's able to get cashback. But just want to get confirmation from here since my statement date is on 26th.

Because I'm also deciding whether to switch over to the RHB Shell Visa Credit Card, once my OCBC Great Eastern Platinum MasterCard quota is finished

Maybe you need to pay attention to the Bank Muamalat statement to see whether cashback is credited or not. I suspect in December statement (15th) they will also not credit the cashback. I've missed 2 months (October and November) cashback for my Muamalat Pos Malaysia Visa Infinite-i.

There is also another user reported that his EON Muamalat not receiving cashback

My Muamalat EON card statement date is 15 Nov and until now, I can't download/view e-statement from online banking or mobile apps. Neither do I get any email statement as well. It's already 22 Nov but still no statement, how to check whether got cashback or not as the transaction summary doesn't show cashback

Same here.. Can see the spending in app but cant download statement. Statement date suppose to be 15th. No CB received so far. So stop spending now.. Their web and app interface really bad.

I have the same situation too for my September statement. For me, I tried to give them a call and ask them to send me the missing month's statement (In this case would be September). The CS also confused why I called and asked to send a statement, and I explained that I don't even have a statement generated at their online banking website

I think their system cannot cater for new card users, hence they cannot automatically generate a statement for you (yet). Not until some Staff from the Bank manually key in you as a new card user. That's what I assume.
