1. Annual Income: RM50k

2. Annual Fee: waive able preferred

3. Card required for: Mainly for TNB 4k, unifi 1k, buying on laz/shopee 1k. Lifestyle, grocery, petrol and dining 1k. Insurance payment 3k per annum.

4. Existing credit cards (if any):
- maybank 2 gold, amex ikhwan
- pb-i visa & master platinum
- rhb shell

5. Interested in CC from: rhb-i shell or affin duo (affin application rejected even with pledged fd..)

6. Others: Monthly spending increase, planning to apply additional cards, spending 6k-10k, does spending pattern matter to banks or they only look at income? Currently my cards all direct cashback, i dont know much about point conversion, appreciate any suggestions.

Sifus, is applying cards via third party, i.e:ringgit plus or comparehero safe or im selling my info for exchange?

Where to check this? I applied like 1 month+ ago, no news. Called cs check, then the branch staff email me.

Want a lot of docs : 2-months Latest Payslip / 6-months Payslip (for commission based salary), 2-months Latest Bank Statement (with credited salary) / 6-months Bank Statement (for commission based salary), EPF 2025, Employment Confirmation Letter

My last cc applications (mbb, affin, rhb...etc) from 2 years+ ago I think only payslip + EPF = settle. Are all other banks so strict now?

Then now still "under review"

Status auto transfer = under review ?

i thought other banks also same, u fill in online application then eventually they still ask u to re-submit again anyway, i forgot?

Can anyone confirm below? I got different answer from Bank Islam thru 2 calls and 1 email


Please find the details below:

1. Current Credit Card Statement Date - Your current statement date is 14th of every month.

2. Statement Date Cycle Options - For Bank Islam credit cards, the statement date is fixed. Your cycle runs from 15th of the previous month to 14th of the current month.

3. Cashback or Point Calculation Basis - Cashback and point calculations are based on the statement cycle, not the calendar month.

4. Reflection of Cashback and Points - Cashback and points earned during a cycle will be reflected in the next statement after the cycle ends.

Took them 1 week to reply me garbage...
Does it mean that I don't need to pay if I did not receive any credit card statement nor its available in their system?

Nope, there's no statement attached! They just replied that sht and I had to send another fresh email repeating the same crap all over again
