Not really. Bonuslink is not really worth it nowadays. Just that Petronas station nearby my area is congested most of the time compared to Shell.

Anyone using Bank Islam Visa Platinum cashback card? I don't understand how their cashback is calculated. Lodged a Complaint since mid Sep and until now, not a single call back or email to fix the issue.

Aug bill total: 677.44, closing bal: 658.84, cashback 18.6
Sep bill total: 744.78, closing bal: 724.74, cashback 20.04
Oct bill total: 1003.92 closing bal: 979.77, cashback 24.15

I was assuming it's 3% of total bill amount but calculations seems off. Anyone has any idea how the cashback is calculated?

How soon do you get the call from bank staff after submitting your form and documents online? I've submitted my application online but until now, the application status is Unattended

Ok thanks for the feedback. I've submitted from 7 Oct and until now still Unattended status. Will call up call center to follow up

Applied this card since 7 Oct and there was not a single email/call/update of the application status. Then called Muamalat call center 1 weeks+ back and lodged a Complaint about card application not being processed/entertained. Call centre called every 2 days to give status updates until someone emailed me asking for documents for submission again even though the same documents have been submitted through MAP Portal.

Status changed from Unattended to Processing late morning today and now status changed again to Recommended this evening. No idea whether this means the application is successful or not.

But what is worth to point out is the diligence of customer service team that calls every 2 days to follow up on my complaint. Really thumbs up!

I've also lodged a complain with Bank Islam since mid Sep and until now, no email/call. I've called back few times to follow up until I gave up now. So if you have credit card with Bank Islam, better wish there's no screw up with your cashback or accounts, or else you'll suffer with non existent customer service with them
