Go for PBB Visa Signature. AF free with 12x spent. You might want to consider Quantum duo cards also.

Hi there. Thx for your suggestion. I suppose it will be better for me to take quantum if i frequently deal with the merchants not participate in the ZIIP program. Is that right?

it makes no difference since both are from same bank.
one added advantage is you can easily do a balance transfer from other bank into PBB card with up to 6 months ZIIP.

hmmm if you refer to here https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4231109, the flexible payment plan actually caught my eye. From my understanding, I will be sort out the installment plan (at zero interest?) with the bank but not the merchant.

PBB Quantum's Flexipay (12 months @ 0%) is the best. very good to convert big-amount transaction into installments. yes, you pay the bank.

i've done it many times with PBB Visa Signature (9 months @ 0%) and also Quantum's 12 months @ 0%. from buying electrical items to kitchen cabinet to eye surgery  biggrin.gif

Thx for the clarification. By the way, I just wonder what is the best way to apply for PBB CC. via agent?

just email the application form (PDF, print-fill-sign-scan-email). i did this for my principal + supp cards.

if u have the time, visit the branch also can.

i'd avoid filling the online application form smile.gif

hi there... so i have this question in mind i thought i might as well ask here since you got the experience. Do PBB charge any "processing fee" for the Flexipay?

choose those Flexipay plans with 0%! here's how it works..

Note: Quantum need only RM1.2k for Flexipay 12mth 0%. Other PBB cards need RM2k for Flexipay 9mth 0%.

1) swipe a big amount from a merchant.
2) after the transaction got posted (about 1-3 days, varies from merchant to merchant), call PBB CS to convert to Flexipay.
3) next day, you'll see the original amount will be "reversed", then 1st installment amount charged.
4) in your statement, it will show the Installment # count and remaining installments. Every new statement, the # count will increase, the balance will reduce.

Final installment:
