Hi All,

Will be moving to Malaysia in a couple of months.

Have browsed through the various bank/credit card sites but would like to also hear from users.
Not only am I looking to sign up for CCs, but I also need to sign up for some personal bank savings accounts. I do a lot of transactions/payments online so for me a good APP/web interface is important too.
From what I understand, CIMB has the best app interface - let me know if I am wrong.

Anyway, in regards to the CCs, here are my details:

1. Annual Income: RM500k+

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: No.

3. Card required for: List all your needs. AirMiles, Lounge Access, Overseas Transactions

4. Existing credit cards (if any): Nil (in Msia).

5. Interested in CC from: Suggestions please!

6. Others: I am a foreigner. I would like to be able to track expenses on CC via App. Don't care much about cashback as in many cases they are capped.

Thanks everyone!

If you will, let us know your spending patterns (categories of transactions you will spend on, ie. Online, Utilities, Departmental, Groceries, etc) and estimated annual amount of spending. It will help to determine which card to recommend.

And No,CIMB app is not the best app.  smile.gif

I would say I use the CC mostly for travel related purposes.

Flight bookings, hotel bookings, car rental etc all overseas spent.
Where I spend on the card locally is 80% just on dining. (But even then I mostly use my debit card for that).

Annual spent would be around RM120-150k (of which the 80% would be overseas).

Groceries, Utilities, fuel etc I normally go for my debit card.

For annual spending above RM108k, I would recommend the general purpose Hong Leong Bank Fortune car --> https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2161445

If you are one of those who would like to explore the benefits of each card benefits, a few to recommend, but it might be tedious to apply from the respective banks:

- Plaza Premium Lounge free access (Ambank WMC/Infinite) --〉Ambankhttps://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3993469
- Dining (Public Bank Visa Signature and Quantum duo cards) --〉Public Bankhttps://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4251865
- Online expenses (Public Bank Visa Signature and Quantum duo cards)

I'll stop here, since you may not be interested in getting so many cards.

Thanks. Will look into the cards mentioned.
