Hi all, hoping you can help out on the recommendation:

1. Annual Income: 48k

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Yes

3. Card required for: Mainly for getting a 0% instalment from Zcova ring purchase.

4. Existing credit cards (if any): Affin duo, RHB Shell.

5. Interested in CC from: Eligible banks for the 0% instalment from Zcova only from Maybank, CIMB, PBB so I am deciding which card to take from those banks.

Thanks!

need to apply though

Oh thanks! I did not manage to find this. Still have to apply though and subject to approval. If that's the case, any recommendation on what card from those 3 banks?

the previous campaign indicated that it should not be a problem as long as it does not exceed 80% of your available credit limit
currently i have 3 EIP & 1 BT

in terms of cashback for MBB, PBB, CIMB
i would go for MBB, since ewallet would be covered by your Affin Duo/RHB Shell
those 2 cards would have covered up to RM 3,500 monthly spending for maximum cash back, which also covers quite a number of categories
if you prefer getting SST rebate, go for PBB
CIMB, i'll leave it for other to comment, nothing caught my attention

Which MBB CC would you recommend? The ikhwan amex platinum 8% cb only on online spending seems to be quite restrictive.

i thought you did some research before and narrow down to 3 options based on your high spending in grocery
so i assumed u were referring to ikhwan mastercard which matches your grocery and petrol spending lol.gif

edit:
sorry, i mixed up
depending on your spending since affin duo and rhb shell provides cashback on ewallet, which could almost cover most categories

Haha no worries bro, since there's so many posts its normal to mix up. Thanks for your advice thumbup.gif

Hi all, planning to purchase electrical appliances for new house using Shopee through credit card installment. I see that only three banks are accepted, CIMB Maybank and PBB. Wondering which cc from these banks are the best to apply to? Currently I have affin duo and rhb shell, but neither these two are accepted as cc installment in shopee.

if u r fine with 12-month tenure,
could potentially utilise the Affin 0% 12-m FPP manually but ensure sufficient time between buying/posting date and statement date
alternatively, utilise your RHB shell cash back quota and Affin 0% 12-m balance transfer
either way, might need to wait for a while because the current promotion last until 30 June 2025, hopefully they will be extended

if both cash back from affin duo & rhb shell had been maxed out, MBI Amex could provide additional RM 50 cash back

Thanks for the idea. I had forgotten about this affin FPP because I've used it before last time. Will keep an eye on this if they extend the promotion. thumbup.gif
