The normal Maybank AMEX is generally a cash back card, not to collect points.

Their Maybank Islamic Ikhwan AMEX is getting an upgrade next month, worth your consideration:

Interesting card, this is similar to the old Barcelona FC!

But this is only for online spending right?

But then it's AMEX...so can't reload TNG also sweat.gif

My Amex platinum is using >1k per month nowadays, will add on this card for extra cash back.

I’m seeing more and more shops with Maybank machines have Amex support nowadays.

your amex plat >1k per month, what's the ratio of Online vs Offline/machines?

Perhaps 70% online, but I can offload some purchases from the other cards (which now no benefit due to exceed as well).

looks good, can offload to Ikhwan Amex later

both amex plat and ikhwan amex complement each other well

I just realized, the Ikhwan is even better without the weekend restriction right? RM50 and RM100 at 8% cashback is really good plus without weekend limitations.

Nowadays seems the Islamic banking ones have more competitive cash back benefits rclxm9.gif the other one is PIB Visa.

For cashback (online, eWallet), is the RHB Shell now a better card than Affin Bank Cash Back?

Not sure if I'm missing any details..

1. Annual Income: RM180K and above

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must

3. Card required for: Insurance auto rebate

4. Existing credit cards (if any): CIMB Petronas Infinite, Affin Duo, MBB Amex and Amex-i, PBB VS, QM, QV and Islamic Plat, Ambank True

5. Interested in CC from: No preference

6. Others: Please be specific. Example: I am currently charging my insurance to Affin Cash Back, due to the nature of the cashback require min RM3,000 on and off I hit or miss. So thinking if there is a better card with cash back for insurance auto debit.

Maybank FC Barcelona VS 1%

Otherwise charge your insurance to CIMB Islamic Petronas Visa Infinite so monthly spending>RM4000 for RM60+RM60 CB.
*
CIMB Petronas Visa Infinite don't need RM4,000 for RM60+RM60 right? Setel/Petronas 6% ~ RM1000, then Groceries etc 3% ~ 2000 will be able to hit RM60+RM60?

Totally forgot about MBB FCB, cancelled sometime ago when they changed to 1% CB laugh.gif but yeah it seems like one of the more fuss free card around now. Thanks for the input, will plan out see if I should go to MBB FCB or just toss into CIMB Petronas.

I see Bank Islam Visa card has Auto Bill, does this cover insurance eg. GE? I don't see insurance being excluded from TnC below.
