Hi, please advise.
1. Annual Income: RM30K to RM36K 2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must 3. Card required for: Petrol, groceries, benefits 4. Existing credit cards (if any): Just now getting RHB Visa Smart Value bundle with housing loan. 5. Interested in CC from: Maybank 6. Others: Need advise on this matter and first time using CC. Need for petrol (Shell) and groceries (Aeon Big/Giant). How to know when the due date of payment to avoid interest? Need more info regarding customer review, hidden term, best promotion like Maybank member card etc. Thanks in advance. Below are my founding from iMoney and Ringgitplus * HSBC Amanah MPower Platinum Credit Card-i Get up to 8% cashback everyday on your petrol and groceries spending! ***RHB Smart Value Credit Card*** (Currently obtain card, not activate yet. If not activate or swipe, automatically it will cancel right? ) Earn up to 5% cash back for petrol, groceries, online spending and utility bills. |

Make sure you read first how to maximize these two cards. There are existing threads in this section. No, your card is still active even if you don't activate it. It will still be shown in your CCRIS, especially for your case which is below 36k p.a., you are only limited to two issuing banks. Hence, call to cancel RHB if you don't plan to use it. A piece of advice, RHB will not totally cut it off, so it may be still showing in your CCRIS. So, please have a close monitor on this. This is based on my own experience. Although I mentioned two issuing banks, the above suggestions for both MBB cards are considered as two entities. One is conventional and one is Islamic, hence if your annual income is not RM 36001 and above, once you apply for these two cards, they will take up your allowable holding cards quota. |
