Hello

1. Annual Income: > RM200K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Not necessary but the lesser the cost the better it is.

3. Card required for:

Monthly expenses
1. Astro - RM 140
2. Maxis - RM 170
3. Petrol - RM 500
4. TNB - RM 350
5. Water - RM 100
6. Monthly hospital follow up - RM 450
7. Medicine bought at pharmacy - RM 1000
8. Dining - RM150
9. Groceries - RM 300

Annual expenses
Flight tickets - RM 25000/year
Hotel stays - RM 8000/year
Overseas retail transaction - RM 18000/year

4. Existing credit cards (if any): Nil.

5. Interested in CC from:
Not sure. Currently thinking of HLB Wise Gold to get RM100 cashback every month by choosing the Utilities and Petrol options to cover the monthly expenses. I will also apply for 1 supplementary card thus a bit reluctant with the high AF related with HLB Wise. At the same time thinking of getting PB Visa Signature as the second card to cover the "annual expenses"

1. I am a frequent traveler. Platinum on Enrich FFP. Therefore NOT LOOKING for airport lounge access.
2. NOT INTERESTED in reward points as i think most credit card offers lousy or uninteresting items.
2. I am looking mostly on Cashback card to reduce or somehow offset the expenses.
3. Alternative is to get the most airlines miles which can somehow help me reduce my flight tickets costs.
4. Not interested with Maybank 2 Cards Premier as I've tried to apply it 6 months ago and they asked me to deposit RM30K as collateral without giving any dividends which I am not keen to do it. Then I stopped searching for credit card to prevent unnecessary damage to credit rating.
5. I am interested to have only 1 credit card but may consider 2 at most. Too many credit cards is too hard to manage and may likely give bad impression on credit rating.

I welcome suggestion of single card or any card combination that suits me the best.

Thanks in advance

You have many cards can apply, for e.g. PBB VS, Maybank2Cards, SCB Cash Back Plat, Maybank FCB Visa Signature.

I'm just curious why Maybank wanted you to deposit 30k, isn't it supposed to be FD? Moreover, I don't understand why since you have income.

Most likely due to foreign income without previous commitment and tax information in Malaysia.
Thanks for the suggestion. Will look more into your recommendations.
