QUOTE(aurora97 @ Apr 12 2024, 10:33 AM) so in sn short, affin duo should be enough? any card for e-wallet topup? miles, cb thinking for my hla360 and housing load auto deduct from card instead of from my saving as i would just pay my card at the last few weeks of the month. i hardly save any MYR due to seldom use btw i applied a lot of cards (HSBC/RHB/UOB) but rejected due to CCRIS being clean, no car and housing loan lol probably need to wait for a year for my housing loan This post has been edited by 1024kbps: Apr 13 2024, 04:53 PM

QUOTE(aurora97 @ Apr 13 2024, 05:37 PM) Affin Duo is enough but make sure you dont pay your insurance using FPX or Jompay. You need to do auto-billing. Otherwise, you dont get the CB. To be honest, i think your application get rejected because you dont have source of income in Malaysia. If you like certain cards, you can talk yo the bank to pledge some money in FD but you will be stucm to that limit (i.e. whatever your pledged in FD). they did asked me to provide prove of income from SG but still rejected. my housing load will not start until august probably. tried a lot of local bank almost give up. Sg bank approve speed are crazily fast, applied on monday, card delivered on friday lol the reason i dont use SG cards because the bank exchange rate are poor

Been using cardup for my rent, Citi can pay rent with CC but the rate is much higher, at 2.6, cardup only charge 1.75% So far only my citi cc can earn points from cardup. been using for 4 months plus earned 4K miles, citi miles is expensive to earn with cardup compared to other cc. Here's the guide for reference https://milelion.com/2025/04/19/full-list-o...codes-for-2025/but it may be applies to Singapore user only.
