Wtf, unless like really life threatening and you're really closed with them. You take leave go visit them got use? You're not a doctor also.
I noticed this alot wan when last time my dad in hospital, i always see 1 whole kampung of people there like picnic, buy KFC laa, MCD laa, chit chat gelak gelak

fak man. EL need to justify? it is your annual leave for god sake.

-but u need to apply it in advance, it is based on approval by ur supervisor

-they cannot have multiple morons missing from work in a single time frame
-emergency leave is based on discretion of the company. ur father didnt build the company. hence, by default , emergency leaves is not an entitlement, rather, its on case to case basis. there is no bloody law to back you up so that you can go watch a premier of star wars because you got free tickets last minutes
-having said that, if you can show proof you actually had an emergency, you most likely can get away with it.
-if u dont have proof, it will be treated as unpaid leave.
