let me try to make it really slow and simple

-u r paid to work
-u have annual leaves
-but u need to apply it in advance, it is based on approval by ur supervisor
+why?
-they cannot have multiple morons missing from work in a single time frame
-emergency leave is based on discretion of the company. ur father didnt build the company. hence, by default , emergency leaves is not an entitlement, rather, its on case to case basis. there is no bloody law to back you up so that you can go watch a premier of star wars because you got free tickets last minutes
-having said that, if you can show proof you actually had an emergency, you most likely can get away with it.
-if u dont have proof, it will be treated as unpaid leave.
