If iPhone's introduced in this market at below RM2k, Steve Jobs will be 'hantam-ed' by his friendly competitors
Bearing in mind, the prices of iPod, the phone would need to be priced slightly higher or there'll be a reduced market for iPods
Who wants to buy iPhone when it is out?, All about iPhone !

ezinger,
I don't think it's too wise to purchase the iPhone just to be able to declare being the first around to be using the iPhone. A phone should be purchased based on practicality and functionality, no? Er... then again, I'm thrifty... |

ezinger,
Like I said, I'm just thrifty when it comes to such gadgets, hence I look at it from a different perspective. To begin with, not everyone owns a 3G enabled phone - for one, I no longer do Also, unlike many people, I find a phone to be a phone and as convenient as it is to have a camera attached to it, if I'm going to take a photo, I rather be carrying a proper digital camera *shrugs* - perhaps I'm just too stereotyped? *shrugs* If you're getting the iPhone for fashion sake then by all means, go get the iPhone... I'm pretty sure you're gonna be envied by all your friends but do beware about compatibility issues before you bring the phone back here yah? I can't afford to be the first person to own a brand new sports car here, but well, even if i can, that's not gonna help me reach self actualisation level on Maslow's chart |

supafreak,
Too much Management reading the last few days put Maslow here *grins* I would think so too by the time the phone reaches our shores, it'll be the 2nd Generation phones.. well, keep your fingers crossed the price would be compatible with the rest of the smart phones, hence leaving a smaller dent on all your pockets.... I wonder if I would have gotten a replacement for my phone by then.... |

ezinger,
How right u are.... Ask me to choose between climbing Mt KK and slogging 3 years for a degree I'll probably choose the latter tishaban, *high5* I think the price of the iPhone will probably be in the RM2.5-RM3.5k range. And I think I'll stick to my old faithful until the need arises for a new phone.... [which coincidentally been almost 3 months now!!!!] |

tishaban,
Yeah, the little information I read on the N77 makes me wonder if I'll have enough $ to get the phone - maybe just get you to get the iPhone when ur in the States instead huh? *grins* Can't deny I find Nokia's smart phones a little slow but well, the lag's not something we can change, is there? Unlike others, i don't have special preference towards Nokia - though I must admit I'm looking at either just a SE or Nokia - obviously the latter would be good since I have sufficient chargers for home, and office *grins* Er.... I don't think I'll be using much of my phone function much - plus to sync it with MBP.. er... i haven't even worked those programs yet... u wanna give me a demo? signboard, You're deciding between an iPod and iPhone? Er..... shouldn't we just work on objectives here since the iPod and iPhone are basically 2 different gadgets; obviously with iPhone having more value added stuff in it... |

Perhaps it'll be an open phone for the Asian market? And if u want to use everything, then just get the iPhone ... and until it comes out, no need to talk about it lor |
