Guys, want to ask if anyone got video cutting out problems, mainly on HD channels?

My family's Astro Byond when watch HD channels video will cut out very badly. Cuts out every few second or a few times a minute. And they cut out for more than 1-3 seconds but the audio will still play fine.
If we change to SD channels not HD it doesn't cut out as badly. It does cut out but the frequency lower maybe once every minute or every other minute so it's not too noticeable.

I have a suspicion there might be something wrong with the F type termination on the coax cable. It is the screw on type and when I unscrew it I can see some green-ish oxidization on the copper shielding strands. Last time it happened I screwed the jack tighter on the cable and it was ok for a while.
