Does anyone notice that Astro has artificial delay introduced to their channels? I am a big F1 fan and for the first few races of the season i noticed that the broadcast is significantly behind the Formula1.com live timing, which has not happened before.
Yesterday I tuned both Astro and HyppTV to FoxSportsHD and surprise, surprise, Astro has a 5 second delay compared to HyppTV

QUOTE(dannielshazmeer @ May 1 2017, 12:40 PM) they have filter the programme first before broadcast to TV Don't think so, as usually a filtered programme (like WWE's PPV) are delayed 5 minutes.

QUOTE(Anime in HD @ Oct 30 2017, 05:59 PM) Check through lyngsat page website. 12396MHz is on Lifetime HD, Discovery Asia HD, Fox Life HD, Nat Geo People HD, Disney XD HD & new slot is FOX Sports 3 HD(which is not yet updated in lyngsat website). 12xxxMHz frequency & up is basicly is Measat 3a satellite. While most 11xxxMHz frequency is commonly Measat 3 satellite. You can use STB Diagnose in B.yond box settings & see that ch830 is on 12396MHz(VH). Note that 12396MHz is verticial high frequency. Which this mean, when heavy raining it easily lost signal. Which is me still wonder that why not astro moved popular HD channel in 10xxxMHz slot. When heavy rain, the channel still can be view(less interference with water rain). Because there are more people watching non HD channels than they are watching HD. Sadly that is the case with Astro subs where majority are still using CRT in kampung. These are the people they are targeting, with Malay channels and such. Hence why SD channels are cropped to fit into 4:3 instead of native 16:9 that being said, TV3 is now native 16:9 SD, which should mean that other media prima channels would be following suit as well, and should force astro tu use native widescreen in all channels, including SD

QUOTE(zeese @ Oct 23 2017, 03:07 PM) Please dont remove the old rca jack. I use that to output astro display to a 2nd tv in the kitchen. HDMI splitter will work, but it will require a power supply to power up the splitter. Waste my electricity and socket outlet. (passive hdmi splitter , the one that split hdmi to 2 output without using any power supply does not work). https://www.lazada.com.my/ultra-hd-4k-hdmi-...0.6293c58JvKz4NI used this USB powered one and it works for some reason. Also quite easy as I just use Astro's extra USB port as power for this splitter
