Atleast HyppTV customer can get more choice than Astro. Zee Variasi removed and replace by Tara HD. For TVi. Me not so watching this channel. Just recycle content from tv1. and i think not many will watching TVi. Maybe will be ceased transmission someday. Considering not good new content provide.

Don't know if Astro will take TV1 HD & TV2 HD.

But Aniplus don't have new premiere show instead of latest from Japan offerings.
For me Animax still the best. Aniplus should add more show at 8pm or 10pm slot like Animax doing. If they can add plus with Malay dub. Sure more people will watch.

But Animax channel on Astro seems no longer make Malay dub. Maybe Astro/Animax not find good actor voice to match criteria with that show.

Or, it could mean that no much Malay audiences are watching anime in Malay dub, and prefer original Japanese dub. Astro has ways to analyse that, and get the statistics.

3 million people download just to watch Live TV only.

Other channel such as On Demand need to fix it first! Notice that you need 20Mbps or 50Mbps speed then you can watch the content in 720p HD.

There is NOTHING great except for repeats not willing to to waste my expensive data,I rather use my data more wisely on more good premium content. Astro has bored msians enough!!

I'm sure that Star Vijay on Astro is Malaysia version.
Just like here. We have ONE HD as SBS Korea channel. But the feed is not same & not LIVE from South Korea original feed. Some SBS show not showing here maybe due to some show need or heavily censored by astro anyway.

I lost hope with TV station nowadays. Because if you want that show that exclusive in that country to be show here. No hope. Since our censorship is really worst. And i really sure that Korea or all channel also be censor. Some okay to cut or blur. But sometime i think astro buang part yang tak perlu dipotong. You watch their censor english channel also make me wondering where that part you see in internet not available on Astro TV.

No wonder article in internet stated that many people download TV content in internet than watching versi potong di Astro.

Last I remember, spore law does not allow local insertion of adverts or selling of airtime in channels from content providers,but in corrupted msia all is possible even licence expired also can carry on!

Subscribers pay monthly fees to get even MORE ADVERTISEMENTS !!! I have "tahan" so loooong, and even reduced my package. Now "tak boleh tahan lagi" !!

I know its useless but I will call Asss-throw to complain and scold them ...  and then change to NJOI. I do hope more and more subscribers call to complain.. persuade your friends and any subscribers to call Asss-throw and complain, if possible... threaten to terminate.

How many will make the complaint? I think there are many people who don't care who will say its useless to complain so I don't know how many will do it but at least a few of my friends WILL call to complain !

I think a few years ago, they tried adding advertising logo on top left or corner of screen... I think it was advertising for the local movie "Ola Bola". Adding advertisement on Info Bar is not new because they have done it before (for a short while).

Once I change to NJOI, I don't mind the advertisement on Info Bar because I do NOT have to pay monthly subscriptions.

I think astro is good and stable provider. Just that it is very darn slow at upgrade and it's super sky high expensive. Try offering the full package at rm50. I believe every single home in malaysia will take that up and that will even make astro earn more compare to now, expensive and more and more to cut the service off.

Astro needs a new business plan and strategy, the monopoly trend will not work anymore as Internet is getting faster and cheap.

The reason they made exclusive content on Astro Go first, before making it available on TV platform is because they want to attract more users to use Astro Go and also gain popularity of it. Cuz after all, pretty much every Malaysians know what is Astro, but not everyone knows Astro Go, you see?

The content that is exclusive on Astro Go are mainly targeted on youngsters, such as anime, Korean shows and American comedy shows.
They know youngsters (incl. young adults) spend more time on Internet and video content streaming like this, compared to adults or elderly.
