Atleast, there is something... doh.gif

Astro?
No competition. No improvement. No good service.. yawn.gif yawn.gif

Maybe, they will add more exclusive channels in Astro Go.
Despite, i see someone comment "when will K+ HD, Aniplus HD & Comedy Central HD is on TV." Pity them.

K+ include in Korean Pack.
But, need to watch in crap resolution in Astro Go... cry.gif laugh.gif

Also, life is one time only.
Rather pay more to astro than waiting someone to break astro monopoly.

2 decade man. Who can make astro desperate more? whistling.gif

Maybe around the year of 2021, where Measat 3 satellite to be retired after 15 years of operation since 2006.
They might somewhat "refresh" the channels as Astro migrate its SD channels to Measat 3b (very likely). Not sure, just saying.

I mean, we as customers sure will experience a little bit of disruption while watching Astro during migration process from Measat 3 to 3b, especially dealing with transponder frequencies. Will see how...

But it depends on the fuel level of the satellite also. If the fuel still sufficient to extend, then it can be extended more than its expected operation lifetime period, like for example extend around 4 years also possible (just like Indonesian satellite Telkom 1 while waiting for new satellite to replace it).

telkom 1 just suddenly down last august. almost all service related are down including some transmission of UHF tv channels. now all the service are being moved to telkom2 and telkom 3S. actually the telkom 1 replacement is telkom 4 that will be launch later.

Our local broadcasters (especially Astro and Media Prima) do export some local made programmes (especially Malay programmes) to Singapore, but Indonesia I'm not sure. So far I never hear about whether Indonesian TV airs Malaysian programmes. Even if it does, I don't think they air it often, or maybe it does offers on pay TV channels only.

Malaysian made programmes are mostly sellable to neighbouring countries like Singapore and Indonesia.
Other than this 2 countries, I think it would be hard.
