I do remember when our version of Astro (a.k.a Astro Nusantara, 2006-2008) carries local versions of Astro channels, including Aruna, Kirana and Ceria.
But still, Astro Aruna was poorly met with their viewers because of their unfamilliar programs. (Indon show, that is.) No wonder they shut it down.

Of course, Pelangi and Bintang was the answer to Aruna after the shutdown. I bet someons still watches these, even though theres nothing good on those channel nowadays.
They repeat the same shows over and over and no new shows whatsoever. No Dunia Terbalik, no The Comment, nada. Only available on FTA sattelite and online.

For football fans there is alternative.
For malay drama & no like to use Android box to access astro channel(illegal through seller). Will still prefer astro bcz at village. There is no unlimited data & speed to stream TV.

Anyway, congrats for stop subscribe astro. 1 now port out.

It's not like we download full games everyday, anything that can be downloaded overnight while we slept is good enough already. Say you start the download at 12 midnight, you have 18 hours to download until you reach home from work the next day to actually play the game.

Got... Singtel TV and/or Starhub TV do carry Malay and Tamil channels made by Astro, such as Astro Ria, Prima, Warna, Vaanavil, Vinmeen HD, etc.
But I know is, the channel version you see in Malaysia and Singapore is different (different feed). So the programme currently showing in Malaysia would be different than the one you see in Singapore. And also, Singapore feed ones has lesser ads than the one you watch on Astro (Malaysia).

Because Singapore don't produce much Malay and Tamil language content, so they mostly import TV programmes from Malaysia and India. So, no surprise if they JV with Astro....

Cannot la imagine its RM34. since content international is paid in USD by the content provider anyway. its not gonna happen no matter who steps in as new player   

what i know only upin ipin and boboiboy reach indonesian market right now.

I wonder if it is aired on Indonesia, will it be in Malay audio dub or they make another Indonesian audio dub... But I guess it will still in original Malay audio dub...
