If those people who reports to MCMC, that means they showed support the move of censored content. If you don't like the channel, just change it to something else. No need to bising.

Astro apparently gives good money to HBO to “lock-in” the HBO and Cinemax channel. For HBO, the movies are sent in advance to astro for censorship vet and astro will provide a cutting list on the cuts required for the HBO Malaysia channel. HBO will edit the movie based on this list and scheduled it on the Malaysia feed channel. So, when the feed then goes direct from Singapore thru astro and direct to viewers home.

Cinemax will still be censored by astro, hence the 1 hour delay. There is no dedicated Cinemax Malaysia feed, hence when the Cinemax movie starts, you can see a sudden Malaysia rating logo animation inserted (with no Cinemax logo) before the actual movie.

From the picture itself, obviously it is censored/blocked by TVBS themselves, not Astro.
If it is censored by Astro, it won't look like this.

If you learn to differentiate, you will know which side is the one that is censoring.

The display mode is 16:9 fit to screen but the video they transmit is in 4:3, so that means legacy Astro boxes are still able to watch the channel as per usual.

Only the few ones that is native in 16:9 video (display in 16:9, video also in 16:9) that some legacy Astro boxes may not able to watch, such as Disney XD and Eurosport.

You have about 300 channel TV & almost 200 channel are in HD quality...

And, Toonami still shows MAL name. Even, Astro & HyppTV not take that channel..
I guess AMC HD is not popular & the channel itself identity is stolen by FOX HD channel.

I think Astro Prima HD will be available if the channel is on Measat 3 C-band. Just check through lyngsat page. Still in SD quality. I think joshhd is misleading. It's okay. You all have variety of channels. Here, we have crap rojak channel...

I wonder what will happen to Malaysia Pay TV market if taken by Pakatan or DAP party. Either will be improve or price will be more cheaper. But, we need to look back with our current RM money to go strong(atleast to go normal rates)..

Astro CS quoted RM 65 installation when I inquired about upgrading from old decoder to byond last week with HD subscription. Requires 12 months lock in.

I found that installers were offering RM35 for new customers with 120 days free premium channel preview and ten bucks fee rebate every month for a year. I might as well terminate and sign up as a new customer..... looks like Astro doesn't value loyal customers. New customers get a better deal

Just proud to astro bcz upgrade/add to HD feed(at no additional cost).
Btw, why astro not put this channel on Measat 3b satellite. Still depends on lame satellite.
Note: astro put FOX Sports 2 & 3 HD on 12xxxMHz

Other cartoon still just get 16:9 feed only.
Hope they can add Aniplus HD, K+ HD, Comedy Central HD & DW by year end.

This channel won't get upgrade to HD feed soon.

I dont think so for UHD because very very less UHD channels are available.

And you wont be suprise add on UHD service additional RM12 or RM25 (just like HD fees) in the future.

I even saw from newspaper online citizens also tangkap by citizen for those who install android box which can watch Live TV via online (You know what I mean)

Quite terrible nowadays cant enjoy much home entertainment in Malaysia.

Satellite TV broadcast needs a lot of $$$.. Not many have the funds.. I'm still waiting for Ansa Broadcast plans.. Seems silent only for now..

Their package and channels are much more attractive than Malaysia service provider.
Just imagine is RM34+ (don't convert from SG to RM) can enjoy such like this so much channels, it's very very enough already.
