I think 90% of SG already have fibre service. And their prepaid & postpaid no good.
Singtel fibre offer minimum 500Mbps speed. Meanwhile here TIME 100Mbps.
Singtel maximum 10Gbps. TIME 500Mbps. Not so much different. 100Mbps is good enough nowaday. Even for me 5Mbps here like very rare if you stay in congest mobile area.

If 2Gbps speed FTTH here. Not most malaysia nationwide coverage will or can subscribe because limit. Right now good enough that TM Unifi already expand in Kelantan.

Kedah , Perlis and other long way. Maybe need to wait till 2030 years.

This show astro current offering by prepaid.
This 2017 just not hope that astro will introduce new HD international channel.

Back in 2016. We only get more in-house HD channel and upgrade of LIFETIME to LIFETIME HD with same number(CH709).
Just more to in-house and ala carte pack per channel.

If astro offer me like ANIPLUS HD at one ala carte pack.
And price is RM5.30 i will take it. But for now astro more to their rojak channel.
And i lost hope already with current and new channel to be upgrade to HD quality.

Arena, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, NHK. Boleh pulak upgrade 16:9 SD pic.
Astro should force migration to full MPEG4 sd set top box.

In Indonesia most popular TV Operator migrate already. Also that some article you post that state astro stb use.
And more about 90% already use Byond stb. So better astro to move fully Byond stb and using MPEG4 compression for SD channel.

No. Smart card is link with decorder but you can't use it on another maybe your mother house decorder to watch your subscribe channel.

Only old legacy set top box support this feature

But astro not give free preview to watch all good channel.

What we can expect from astro monopoly is still going and with no competition astro won't provide you more new good HD channel and give free preview when holiday.

Even if their exclusive monopoly expire. I don't think terus 1 Mac 2017 ada company baru nak apply jadi syarikat pay tv.

Even the new company have best channel maybe diorang takkan provide best channel like AXN HD, FOX HD, ONE HD yang masih ada exclusive contract dengan Astro.
