Also, I dont plan on buying any property in CyberJaya, no offence to them. But I prefer Putrajaya, there is much more food and leisure variety there. The water feature is much more vast, the people are more relatable (if you know what I mean), and as such the food is more appealing to me thatn Cyber's.

I got a very cheap rent in Cyber, which is the reason we took it, wife works in Putrajaya which is just 10 minutes away; if I had the choice though, I would have stayed in Putrajaya instead.

your concept on the area is too personal already bro.... if you looking a house to own stay... anywhere u think is happy will do for you... haha.... from investment point of view.... its all together a different strategy... having said so... if really wanna invest in property.... cyber or putrajaya will not be part of my option as investment opportunity.... haha.... the population is growing very slow at that location.... hence why it is a very calm and peaceful township... where residents enjoy their peace and serenity and cycling around all day....

Putrajaya > Cyberjaya personally, but both are leagues above Puchon, Saujana Putra, Bangi, Kajang, etc. which are also nearby. i understand your point bro... but this thread is talking mostly about investors point of view.... for own stayers... whatever happen to the property market now... your house wont get rampas away anyway.... it will only impact those who owned few properties for appreciation and rental...

and yea.... developers still very bullish about cyberjaya.... its not bad for own stay.... for investment or rental play.... just too much.... and some ppl just like to use those old, nearer to Cyber city center properties to compare against the potential appreciation of the new ones.... laugh.gif laugh.gif

maybe the unit he rented have bad view... bad layout... or maybe even bad car park location... its quite headache to walk from the car park to your own block there in midfield 2....

well... we do have to see what will happen to the market after GE and also after market recovers... anyhow... this gomen is good in controlling the general property pricing and rental pricing with their affordable housing scheme.... high-rise is definitely over-supply right now... not many newly VP condo nowadays have more than 50% occupancy rate.... especially those bought during DIBS era....
