QUOTE(Deal Hunter @ Jan 6 2020, 09:46 PM) See what happens after the current promos end on Tuesday 7 January 2020 at Hong Leong. If above 4.1 % may consider especially if can beat MBSB 4.25 % ER promo. Otherewise rubbish promo. Haha, I mean Hong Leong Bank CNY Open House (one day only). Every year have in the past, but 2020 don't have, even CNY is near. |

QUOTE(Deal Hunter @ Jan 8 2020, 11:32 AM) The HL extended TIA-i promo and the short New Year promo ended on Tuesday 7 January 2020 as scheduled without any extension. Thank you very much for the information. This is Hong Leong Bank CNY 2020 promo , but I don't think Hong Leong Bank don't have CNY Open House 2020 like past years.New promo called CNY 2020 at 3.98% p0m6, minimum 10k FF to maximum 200k FF per placement transaction. eFD only using FPX available by login to place at your HL internet SA. Covered by PIDM. The rate is better than the short New Year promo (with PIDM) but less than the TIA-i promo (without PIDM). |

QUOTE(sushix @ Apr 5 2020, 02:27 PM) You need to transfer to other bank, then transfer back to MBB again, only this way they considered as "fresh fund", then select Islamic Fixed Deposit and make a new placement.Very important: must be "fresh fund"! my experience. |

MBB eFD system is bad. First, unlike HLB and PBe, MBB never show the promo rate during we making placement eFD online (eg: 2.59% p.a@ tenure 6M), then after you made placement eFD, MBB give you normal rate, you will regret . Second, MBB FPX system got problem. yesterday morning 8am , I was making eIFD via FPX from Hong Leong Bank I have received an "unsuccessful" message. However, the money has been deducted from my Hong Leong bank account. I went to the MBB branch to check, the MBB information counter staff and have not credited back into my HLB account within 24 hours and asked me go home and wait. Until now it has been more then 24 hours but the fund have not credited back HBB account. Today is Saturday, tomorrow and Mon 25 May will be Hari Raya and Tue maybe replacement. MBB is so troublesome, I'm so worried my fund.

QUOTE(kyleen @ May 23 2020, 12:37 PM) Thank you for sharing your experience. I tried to PM MBB in FB Messenger, MBB replied within few hours. They want me to send the screenshot from the FPX email as well, then they will investigate. I think Twiitter Message them also can.For the record, I made my transaction at 7pm yesterday. It is admirable that you went to follow up immediately at the bank ( the queue is horrible, I was at the bank yesterday for another matter). I have decided on the safe side to report via writing at the MBB website, while waiting for the banks to reopen after the holidays. I do have the FPX email stating the transaction is successful, so I'm going use that for filing the report. I got some helpful info from Paynet FAQ. While making payment using FPX, I have received an error / unsuccessful message. However, the money has been deducted from my bank account. What should I do? In the event that your account has been deducted but the transaction was unsuccessful for some reasons, your money will be credited back into your account by your Bank. You can contact your Bank for the reversal status by providing the FPX Transaction ID or Merchant Order No. as a reference. You may also provide the screen shot of your payment that displays the FPX Transaction ID or Merchant Order No. The merchant claims it has not received my payment although the FPX transaction status is successful. What should I do? FPX transaction status is final and the merchant is obligated to deliver the goods/services or to update your payment in a timely manner. In this case, you should contact the merchant for the delivery of your goods/services purchased. You can provide the necessary details such as the online receipt issued by FPX/merchant or the email notification received from FPX that contain the following details: i. FPX Transaction ID ii. Merchant Order No. iii. Payment amount; iv. Date and time of the payment. ![]() Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(kyleen @ May 23 2020, 12:37 PM) Thank you for sharing your experience. Good response from MBB, but bad experience for this time. MBB eIFD system is no good ( didn't show promo rate, difficult to apply eIFD if FPX from other bank...). Next time if MBB if apply eFD for MBB still need to think twice. For the record, I made my transaction at 7pm yesterday. QUOTE(kyleen @ May 27 2020, 06:04 PM) Good response from MBB, but bad experience for this time. MBB eIFD system is no good ( didn't show promo rate, difficult to apply eIFD if FPX from other bank...). Next time if MBB if apply eFD for MBB still need to think twice. MBB kicked the ball to HLB, then HLB kicked back the ball to MBB.Did you get any further with this ? MBB says I need to check with HLB first HLB say it will get back to me in 2-3 days 🤦 now I'm seriously pissed off at how long it will take to resolve this. A rather large sum of money is in nowhere-land and both banks doesn't seem to care ! @wxpng I'm working under Hong Leong Group also. What I experienced is the HLB security is good, they have maintenance their online banking too frequently, but their customer service is bad. When I was facing such transaction problem. MBB always get me a help. Even Saturday, Public Holiday, I PM them through FB Messanger, MBB service center staff will call me back within few minute. They said tried to call HLB, if cannot settle, then get back to them. (HLB Sat dan Public Holiday off service). When I called HLB on Mon, HLB operator said this is not their fault, since the transaction from HLB was successful. I should go back to MBB. HLB operator blame me why I used FPX, and not go to ATM transaction ??? They only can make the report for me on Wednesday for investigation (after 3 days working day). What a poor service attitude. Luckily, just now after work, I get FPX refund back my HLB account. Now, whose fault is it? Attached thumbnail(s) |

Today tried FPX from another bank - PBB to MBB.call cs whole day macam all got covid19..... then use fb messenger to contact cs 23/5 seen my money in my hlb account again.... PBB successful. Again, MBB transaction declined! That means it's MBB problem! Still need to wait another 3 working day to get refund back to PBB. |

QUOTE(starry-starry @ May 29 2020, 09:29 AM) Encountered the same issue when i placed efd with MBB via FPX yday. Money was deducted but no FD was found in my MBB account! Thought money would be credited to my account today but nope! So came here and realized many face this issue with MBB! So i just gotta wait 3 working days right? PBB 's FPX refund is super fast, it's just took 1 day, after FPX unsuccessful at MBB side, the next day my PBB account got the refund back !(HLB told me need to wait 3 - 7 days working days) Since MBB has system failure with the eIFD-i - FPX , sure MBB lost the huge fund from customers.
