Went to CIMB Taiping branch today to place FD.
4.10% 6-mths, min RM10K
4.00% 12-mths, min RM10K

Then I realized the link above for eFD is still working. bangwall.gif

Weird, mine was autorenewed to 3.3% after matured, hence the need to go to the bank. It should have "renewed to the promotional rate". CIMB at its best.

Mine matured two days ago. It automatically renewed to 3.1% 12-month. Didn't know there's unFD going on at CIMB.

If you amount is not small, should walk in and ask them to make adjustment rather than accepting their standard board rate.

I have another FD maturing in October, but going to and fro bank during lunch break has become a hassle to me. Maybe I should try the suggestion from @il0ve51 and group all my FD under 1 mature date.
But I am not sure how long the CIMB promo is going to last.

bro you can split depending on the bank min req for fd.
for example 6 month 4% xxxbank min 10k
you can use your 45k split to 4 note (10,10,10,15) all 6 months 4%
just in case emergency can break 1 fd to use.
if put all in one note, than when need $$ need break all
