QUOTE(Human Nature @ May 26 2020, 10:15 PM) Thanks for all the replies. Just realized that still need to go UOB this week to withdraw cash OTC to avoid CASA being dormant. Their BR now isn’t revised to 2% for 12m now?June will be a heartache month as few FD maturing. Will divert a bulk of them into BR as their 2.75% 12m is the best bet for now. |

QUOTE(GrumpyNooby @ May 27 2020, 12:56 PM) I believe the offer you got from UOB is branch specific whereby info is not really available in their official bank portal. I don’t have UOB acc. Got the info from fb group just now. Cuz I believe here d info are most updated so check with you all 😆. If really got that good rate I might go to open an acc there.Either you get it from your RM or via SMS from your preferred branch. |

QUOTE(mamamia @ Dec 1 2020, 01:16 PM) Hi sifu, I've question on Bank Islam FD... I placed FD with bank islam for 12 months last year. the slip show expected profit rate is 4%. Today when it matured and withdraw, the interest receive is only 3.8%.. when i complaint to teller, the teller said 4% is just expected profit rate, so, actual can be less than 4%, i thought once it is display in the cert, i should expect to get 4%, how can I deal with this case? Or did I missed out anything? As I know, fd islamic is based on the profit sharing which the rate might be different throughout the period. Please see the slip attached.. |
