just placed FD at RHB, the promotion for 4.38% for 15mth had been extended to 30 Sept 2018.

dont think so... mostly bank only offer promotion rate at over counter...in guess is system but intelligence to recognize fresh fund.. haha

Nice. As long as not bang balls sometime in the week becuz placed at lower rates somewhere becuz no heads up.
Anyway, where got fight with BR 4.5 %? So 4.6 % makes sense to compete instead of 4.4 % No eye see.

just as i thought, useless bank and uesless branch manager unable to give any info about 4.6% promo.

suddenly felt insecure deposited big bulk with this bank, should have diversified with other banks.

CIMB 6-month e-FD @ 4.5% is so convenient for me!

which bank?

even maybank can do rm50k transfer now.

Oh sorry, thought you mean got placement limit.

50k instead of 30k is for customers in segment EMERGING AFFLUENT AND ABOVE.
Anybody knows how to qualify to this segment or also depends on type of account used in transaction for those with multiple MAYBANK accounts?

Not just the link, the promotion is finished for all customers.

someone mentioned PIDM don't cover online hacking, to make matter worse, CIMB eFD don't have paper certificate as proof.

what should be right thing to mitigate such risk?

but, you can transfer the balance to another m2u acct (3rd party transfer) and transfer out again.

Lazy to go to other bank.
