Damn it, just placed cimb fd but in conventional, i think only islamic fd gets monthly interest (profit)

Received sms on HSBC Amanah Advance account which gives 5% special FD for 3 months. You can search for info at the HSBC website.
This is nice for short term 3 months fund parking, available for RM 5K - 30K

The cimb 3.9 % and 4.1 % FD is not required to be 'fresh funds', you can transfer the fund from maybank to your cimb savings account and do the FD at branch.

The 30K in FD is equavelant to having 30K relationship balance.

There are T&C on this such as you should not have existing current (?) account with HSBC etc - do try check t out yourself.

Did you get back the full amount of FD into your savings account?

Mine something weird happened.
I earmarked 100k before 31/3/2023, then the 100k on 3/4/2023 converted to 4.5% FD placement, I also gotten the profit last year (should be around 4128.05)
Today i checked my account, on 3/3/2024 i received back only 95871.95.

Oddly the amount received + advance interest is 100k. Seems like I only get back the total principle. Maybe I missed out on any terms / conditions?

You all received back the actual FD amount?

Do we need to withdraw OTC ? Mine was auto credited into my savings on maturity date with a description of “SI Transfer”.
No interest given , the total credited back + the upfront profit = my actual principle only 😑 wonder wrong lol
