Just received HL FD interest of 4.7%. Oh, step up interest ! Old FD promo in Oct 2015 !!Going to ask for lost interest over 2 days tomorrow.

Heading to MBSB for 4.2% nego interest tomorrow.  Anyone heard of any Jan FD promo from other banks ? 

serious question, do you guys like hold multiple bank accounts to utilise all these promotional FD rates??

I give up.
Firstly even after repeated verbal reminders I wanted monthly interest and told them I was rushing for time, I just trusted them to do the necessary for me.
To my horror, after office hour only they call to inform me everything kawtim but instead of Islamic with monthly interest, they accidentally put into conventional for me.
Pathetic!!!
So I go over again to another branch and the officer told me the monthly interest is only applicable for Islamic normal rates, not the preferred campaign.
So I gave up even though it would have been nice to get few hundreds bucks per month rather than few thousand a year later.
Sigh!
Cimb officers really dunno much about their own products at all!
And no leng lui to rest my sore eyes too.

what a pity the Muamalat 4.5% promo only applies to min 100k.

latest FD rate, Affin giving 4.25% for 2 years and Muamalat giving 4.3% for 1 year, and why people not putting money there..., instead they are looking for MBB, HLB, CIMB and others.... which probably giving around 4%-4.1%, not really fully understand why....?

I called BR just now. The lady said there are FD 60 months for 4.55 pa.
