Hi guys, need advice. I tried to make PD placement under HLB fro 18mth 4.38% via online banking. However, it stated it has to be transferred via FPX. Does it mean I couldn't able to apply using fund from HLB fund?

Thanks for sharing info.

I have done my fixed deposit placement at BI. 4% interest rate is considered alot compared other banks.

my first time experience with counter in BI as i found is their procedures to open account, FD placement is quite complicated compared to others. Open account also need to verify phone number, check this and that, even FD placement also doing the same procedure also. The whole process took me one day for open account and bank in the cheque, another day to handle fd placement after few days clearing the cheque float, in which took me more than one hr. they also question me and advice for not splitting into several certs, and I even realise i need to sign set of documents and form for each cert.

I have no doubt their profession, probably it's their bank s&p of the process complicated and time consuming.

cheers.

They advice you to split or not split?

They advice me not to split, as they used to issue single certificate for a depositor.

haha. perhaps i think could be personal issue which he might thinking it's tedious, because still need to fill up another new form and do the process, and yes quite different method from other bank.

Bimb otc renewal on existing fd or fresh fund from other bank 3.75pc for 12m, 3.7 for 9m, 3.65pc for 6m

I doubt they are asking for fresh fund only, after having further talking with them, they accept renewal on existing fd otc
