No bank at 4% it seems.

RHB 4% is filled... no more
Alliance senior also gone.

HLB counter is only 3.8%

I wonder what about OCBC.
*
I'm thinking about OCBC too. Anyone have any idea whether their service is good and is it reliable in regards to FD?
Thanks in advance. smile.gif

Oh...the non-working-day paid interest means a sum of additional interest over those who not paying on non-working-day?

How about HongLeong and Public Bank and CIMB? icon_question.gif

I just ask Ambank and they said "The interest rate will be calculated : amount x interest rate x n/365
Please note that we will calculate your interest on daily basis included non working days." I wonder is it true?
tongue.gif I'm too suspicious

Similar offers between HSBC and CB for their PB. I did consider HSBC before but I think they need to apply credit card, right ? CB offer just came out and since already their customer, less issue of have to close HSBC acct after 3 mths.  tongue.gif

Yes, HSBC need to apply CC to get 4.88% offer. I can't find the offer from CB, do you mind sending me a link in regards to the promo? Thanks in advance.

I'm a Citigold customer too. My RM never calls me maybe because she knows I only like really low risk investment. Do you need fresh funds to apply for 4.88%?

AmBank should be OK. I have 1,2,3 and 5 years FD with them, still running.  biggrin.gif

Thanks Sifu thumbsup.gif notworthy.gif Another thing is do you think you can clarify whether Ambank pay interest for non-working days?
According to this forum page 1 -
"Banks that do not pay interest for non-working days(after FD maturity date eg Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays)
Am Bank
RHB
Standard & Chartered Bank"
But when I ask Ambank they said they pay interest for non-working days rclxub.gif . Sorry I'm just confuse regarding this icon_question.gif

After pledging a Rm400k Fd to them, I doubt they will ever reject your credit card. With the exception if you are a blacklist or have a bad ccris or ctos record. nod.gif
Why would they not be? What might be your worries? Ambank running away with your money? laugh.gif

Btw have you heard of PIDM? Go read it up if you have never. For you being so paranoid, you must have hundreds of millions in the bank?  rolleyes.gif
