Just received HL FD interest of 4.7%. Oh, step up interest ! Going to ask for lost interest over 2 days tomorrow.

Heading to MBSB for 4.2% nego interest tomorrow.  Anyone heard of any Jan FD promo from other banks ? 

Few forummers have asked about the amt for the FD. guy3288 has said >200k. I can only get it with higher amt. Anyway it is a nego rate. Try your luck. U may be able to get it with lower amt, who knows ? 

We (my relative) actually got 12 mth 4.2% also. Tops out at 4.2%

quick update.  got a call from afin branch at my area.
affin - 50k - 2 years 4.25%, she mentioned 30k also possible to get 4.25%
if more than 70k can nego.

Hi Sifus, can anyone share my queries below:

I'm quite interested to place my e-FD with Maybank especially with the current 4.1% promo.
1) If I decided to uplift my placement before maturity, will the money transferred back to my savings acc immediately or there's processing time?
2) What's the difference between the types of FD placement below, and which one do you think is better?
