HSBC is offering money at 1.88% p.a. from CC, max limit 95% of CC, max tenure 2 years.

So looking at it, the best offer seems to be (for now) the OCBC at 2.75% for 13 months. Nice way to make 0.89%or a little less (based on 1 year repayment) flipping. Hopefully, in a few more days, FD rates will go up and make it more meaningful.

Damn, yesterday another 61yo ex policeman kena RM20k. Same modus operandi from the previous cases, transferred to ewallet.
Some of the previous cases that I read was that bank claimed that the fraudulent fund transfers were legit transfers and bank don't responsible for the loss.

Just to share my own precautionally security measure to minimise the financial fraud.

1) turn off unknown sources installation on the phone.
2) set "view only" for FD accounts. (Not all online banking supported)
3) only set max transfer limit on need basis.
4) OTC FD placement if possible.
5) The most important of all, activate and enable APP Approve.

Please share if you have any suggestion to improve the security.
