same preference. easier to maintain. my amt not super huge, not much difference going with slightly higher OTC rate.

Question. Went to affin bank in Wisma Getah for FD but they told me I will need to show employment ID or employment letter as my IC is from different state. They said it is their policy but I haven’t encountered this before. Is this true and applies to different branches?

They even asked me to show proof I am renting or own house in KL since my IC is from different state.

Should I complain to Affin Bank for their unfair practice? if the bank want to know the source and of my funds thats okay but telling me I can’t open FD account because I my IC is not from KL is ridiculous honestly.

The 4.15 % is normal board rate available OTC and eFD. Was told you will get p661m13. p663m15. p6m18 etc. Not everything is written in detail. You will only get the confirm the next day after processing of eFD. I never tried their normal board rate eFD as below their OTC promo, but this is what I was  told.
