Hi all,
Just want to ask a quick question. If my FD mature on 30-Dec, can I uplift it on 30-Dec itself? (without forfeiting the interest)
Thanks.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but is it that HLB basic saving account is limited for salary crediting? I'm planning to open an basic saving account (for FD purpose), but was told that I can't open it if it is not for salary crediting.

QUOTE(#Victor @ Nov 20 2017, 03:52 PM) Who told you that? Supposed they should ask u to provide ur source of income instead. Maybe it is very strict for CASA opening nowadays due to rules implemented by BNM. The bank staff told me that.QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Nov 20 2017, 04:02 PM) Damn... QUOTE(StarPrimo @ Nov 20 2017, 04:30 PM) Should be one of the few branch that too lazy to 'layan' opening Basic Savings Account. Prefer to open at those branches that open during weekend. More convenient if need to do anything that need to go to the branch.Just go to another HL branch to get your Basic Savings Account. |

QUOTE(??!! @ Nov 22 2017, 04:34 PM) similar experience with HLB ...told me there's no such account. Maybe I should use this method. I asked cashier to ask manager about the account. Came out and said "takda" I said "ok, please issue me letter stating HLB has no such account." They then said ok, can open the Basic account But are there any difference between basic saving account and the normal saving account other than the initial opening amount? (RM20 vs RM200) |

for the HL eFD promo, is it that we need to set it to auto-renewal?
From T&C:- 12. Upon maturity, the principal eFD / eFD-i Amount shall be auto-renewed at the prevailing eFD / eFD-i board rates respectively. But during the application, I can select no auto renewal. |

Don't really like HLB, like to force you to do this or that. eg: force me to download their mobile app.

I see.... but now can't login to CIMB Clicks. Usually, the banner in that position is one with message to effect of "Stronger password is more secured" |
