need to nego at the branch and period more 60 months? if yes, which branch can give 4.8%?

i checked their board rate 60 months and it shows 4.7% online. >60 - goto any BR branch or contact customer service.

just got back from Bank Rakyat. opened 11mth 3% FD. went to taipan USJ branch, no free gift.

opt for monthly interest credit into SA. also they told me no option to have FD credit the principal back into SA, as it has to be auto renew. So i will have to goto the bank and must be there to instruct them to withdraw my FD.....

I already opened a BR savings account few years back -- cyberjaya branch. Can't recall if they asked for any referral letter or employment letter. I think not that time.

.for my case, no need to bring additional docs to except for my IC which they require for thumb print verification.

For the 11 mth FD, they asked me to fill up a form to open FD account. And also another form to do withdrawal ( that morning j transfered my money into my BR savings account. Overall too about 1 hour wait .
