Went to Bank Muamalat Bangi today. Reach there 1.40pm, my mistake assume they open but only get to know they close every Friday from 12.30pm to 2.30pm. I needed to rush to settle other thing can't wait so I drive all back to Bandar Putri Puchong CIMB bank to do the FD. The older guy at the counter very efficient and spot on. No regret to put my FD in CIMB even the rate not as good as Bank Muamalat. 😊

I get 4.1% for 12months, interest will be credit to my basic saving acc every month. If u are preferred customer u can get 4.2%.

Is it normal that we need two identification now to open a FD account? Bank Islam asked me for IC and license.

He say that they need 2 photo verification. Haha. That's when I also found out that my license expired lolol.

Means 2 identification that have your photo in it.

Saw 6 month 4.5% FD here, i called my RM to put some .

She told me dont put all in FD, can get better return  open new Preferred Current Account PCA. RM10k get RM188 next month.

So i remove RM20k open 2 PCA accounts, will get RM188 x2 by 19.1.2019.then close PCA.

This 1 difference from previous promotion, I'm refer to eFD. this is OTC ?
