Has anyone done renewal at 3% for Bank Rakyat?  Is a top up required to enjoy renewal at 3%?  Also, I am wondering if a visit to the branch is necessary, or will they renew it at 3% out of the kindness of their hearts? 

Today going to BR to renew FD. However I will be adding more into it to renew. So will see if they allow my top up of few k for promo rate. I remember they allowed it last time without top up. But better to confirm it again.

Anyway u would need to go to OTC for renewal to promo rate. If not it would auto renew to board rate.

Haha OK OK boss, won't come to rob you la!   Anyway, if outside Klang Valley already so crowded, aiyo, habislah, in Klang Valley must be over-spilling into the road liao    Did the renewal process take long?  I recall one member saying it took 2 hours!!!

The renewal process in BR depends. If count from to counter until fd cert, can be 5 minutes to 15 minutes. System seems a bit slow today.

Overall sure depends on number of queue in front of u. Today overall 40 minutes including queue to finish. But sometimes overall 15 minutes kaotim.

The Rakyat Xclusive does not seems to help for my last 2 encounters this year.

It seems that 3% PA in FD now is a norm.

a few days ago. HL efd was 2.75. today 2.5

Got latest info from BR bank office this morning as below :
7 months : 2.55%
11 months : 2.75%
*This rate will be effective on 15/7/2020

collected last Fd cert they gave this only.

Today HL TIAi 6 mth 4.25% matured, calculated the interest, got exact amount. 

Then do Rentas of the fund to BR. Just step out of HL, BR side already received the fund !! 

Went to BR to place the 11mth 2.75% FD.

Asked about gift, initially the counter staff said not in yet, but I said received a call from them. She went in to check.

Came back with Ferrero Roche

that day took 40 minutes before my turn (went to uplift) in bayan baru.

pretty crowded, so decided to do interbank transfer (which was pretty fast but another customer was served before i was called again to complete the process)
