Friends, better use the AmBank 3.5 as much as possible. My RM (other bank, I am not Prio at AB) told me to prepare for the super cut to 1.75% in May already

Hi, I am trying to put the FD in Ambank account, but in the "Transfer From", only Ambank is available but not from other bank. Does this mean that I have to deposit the FD from Ambank itself?

The rate is fixed when you placed it.

The statement said, the offer rate may be revised when OPR changed  <--- they can no long "offer" this rate, if there is change in OPR, which is norm statement for any FD promo campaign.

Just like supermarket can take down the offer price (instead of previously stated offer from a date to another), when there is OPR changes. Whilst those you already bought at previous offer price, you already "pocketed" it.

fyi, 3.18% is not an effective rate. Because 25% of your deposit must lock in saving account and only 75% will get 3.18% rate in FD. the 70%/30% with min 10000, does it mean 7000 to FD, and 3000 to Saving Account ? so, only 7000 is applicable to 3.10% rates?
