Best rate for Invikta min 50k OTC.
Invikta is current account , yearly fees 10rm. Get ATM and Credit Card.
They asked for salary to qualify, > 10k should be fine.

PIDM protection is like a fallback incase shit happens. I am sure many would not let this be a determining factor. EPF also can go missing if the country collapse.

if kena hack worst, bank will say not bank fault, user problem. not sure pidm will cover you , long time investigate to close case.

banks are best at disclaimer...
if remember correctly, all banks t&c will say no guarantee. trust BI to be not so efficient to change in 1 year compared to bigger banks.

BI practices hardcopy FD slip. if I place FD on 2 different branches, upon maturity can I withdraw from 1 branch or need to go back to the respective branches?

Aiya. got renewal to do end of month. no more 4.5%

just done MBB 7mths 4% efd. no issue. Limit per transaction is 30k, up to 50k a day.

Maximum placement for transfers from other banks (via FPX): RM30,000 per transaction with a maximum of RM50,000 per day*

Dont think you get 4% on efd.

just checked, my FD auto reinvested today at a 4.05% rate. saved me a trip to BI!

Update , as advised I checked few days later it is changed to 2.7%.

My other fd matured on 1Jul24, it got renewed at 2.1%, so i withdrew.
Strangely this one states 4.05. In a way, I like how inconsistent BI is, a learning and growing bank

Checked today. It has been changed to 2.7%.

Successfully opened BE U account, deposit rm20.
Term Deposit keep failing after key in passcode. could not go next step.
