Induction cooker more or less same cost as the gas stove. The advantage of induction over gas stove is easier to clean up and no gas leaking. I suggest go for it.

Whoever say induction cooker consume a lot electricity, either they are using very old type cooker or just lying.

Nope, move in new house with new meter, no modification. Fridge and air con is inverter type.
