nicely done with da sunset pix... love da color... did u use a tripod n remote or handheld... mind sharing ur setting... good job...
*
no tripod, handheld. i think most of the shots were taken at f11 to f16 ans ISO 100-200. just meter from the sun and recompose the scene..

Product shot experiment. Converted to black and white to give a masculine look, then touched-up with some dodging & burning. Hope u like it..
Would u like to buy the watch if u happen to see this advertisement? tongue.gif

Maybe it's just me. If it's a product shot, and I happen to be the customer, I would like to see the whole watch in focus. I like the composition of the second photo, however more than 70% of the area was out of focus.

HHHmmm... I feel the aperture is shallow for me too... hmm.gif

yeah.. it is shallow because the +4 close up filter, and i really focus as close as possible.. i maintain the focal point at the omega wording, so i let the other part blur a bit..

Just a tip. If you notice most of the watch advertisements. They always set the time to 10.10 or 10.08.

So to not obstruct the brand name and also the other words. But nice shots either way.

Would be nice if have a shot of the whole watch

good product shoot. i suggest try using tripod and try using small aperture such as F8 . some said that kit lens are sharp at F8 to avoid shallow DOF.

I once read an article from paper, the 10:10 actually brings the meaning of perfect 10, in Chinese, it's 十全十美.
