I have a P3-M 1.6 GHz and a Radeon 9600 mobile and I can play WoW with no problems 95% of the time (the other 5% is near AB flags ... for some reason the frame rate drops very low whenever I go near it)

Just ignore the pop-up and continue to install. Your pc can definitely play wow!

Maybe because you did not connect your laptop to the power source. it happens to me sometimes.

your spec considered powerful already. but maybe got lags la when in open area. my notebook spec:
1. core duo t2400 2.intel shared graphic memory 3. 1gb ram with this spec i can play the game. but off course have lags. but this game does not much accuracy unlike some other games such as simulations or action games. so, i can accept the lags. btw, yours have dedicated graphic card. should be more than ok. |

I got in on my company Dell D610 which is pretty chekai as far as specs go and worse than yours, I have raided MC / AQ40 with this notebook so yours should be no problem (just adjust the graphics down, if required).
BTW if you want to install WOW the easy way just copy the whole World of Warcraft folder from an existing installation to a USB harddisk and use that to copy into your laptop. 15 minutes tops, with all patches present, no need for messy downloads. WOW does not need any registry entries to work. This post has been edited by limsk: Feb 22 2007, 02:07 PM |
