There isn't any contract but they extend 1 year warranty after I upgraded to 30mbps.. anyway, heard from friend who had complaint this to TM but they wont replace it as the LAN is capable to achieve 30mbps as what few other forumer were mentioning..

Since I am staying in landed properties, is there a way to change some of this setting in the existing router to make it work for 30mbps?

Today received a call from tm cs, just add another rm10 to get 30mbps download. (No contract, no more free calls)

That why the brochure doesn't mention 'free speed upgrade', but merely 'speed upgrade' + 'voluntarily'.
Heck, new promotors are being briefed about not to mention the word 'free speed upgrade', but use only wording 'speed upgrade' if interested customers are subscribing now and someone will contact you (the customer) for 'speed upgrade' on later date.
However, TM hasn't decided on price yet for so called unifi lite 10Mbps. (the only consolation for dsl subscribers)

i got a call yesterday from TM for unifi upgrade. i am vip5 (rm149 monthly excluding GST) user who got the free upgrade to vip10 a couple of months ago. i was offered a total of 4 packages

1) upgrade to 30Mbps + jumbo movie package for additional RM10 a month
2) upgrade to 30Mbps initially and then free speed upgrade to 50Mbps, choice of aneka/varnam/ruby for extra rm20 a month
3) upgrade to 50Mbps immediately (not sure movie package) for extra rm60
4) upgrade to 50Mbps now and free upgrade to 100Mbps later, RM70 extra

i believe all packages are without free calls. NO contract (just maintain current contract if still have). im out of contract long ago so i can terminate anytime i want.

i was also told that vip5 users who got free upgrade to 10Mbps will not receive further free upgrades. i spent a day researching ( i asked her to call me back today) and finally opted for package upgrade no2. i wonder when the free 50Mbps upgrade will be rolled out.

can achieve 47 mbps only right ?
why not 50mbps

anybody know that the Unifi SNR test must meet above 12 DB for download and upload.
if below 12 , is it the signal is not stable or unable to get bandwidth ? The technician said not able to install unifi due to below 12 db.

If TM never review the current 100Mbls price, the existing users will becom 'water fish' which they are paying rm329 for the same speed to those who are paying rm229. Rm100 difference. Rm1200 per year.

hi guys. tm salesperson called me just now to ask me whether I want the free upgrade or not. they said, they'll send people to bring in new routers and stuffs as well. so just wondering, can I ask them to let the unifi router to stay at living room and bring the hypptv box to my bedroom instead of let them both stay at living room? will they be able to do it?

im on vip10 right now. they said that my router won't be able to handle 30 mbps so need to change router as well.
how would they do it? extend cable? new drilling point?

Source told me, 1/2/4/8Mbps users need to opt for RM149 package (similar to unifi VIP5) in order to get upgraded to 10Mbps Unifi Lite.
